Quick Facts

Mix with 2 mL BAC water
How often Once weekly
Also known as Mounjaro
Best known for Appetite control, blood sugar & weight

What Is It?

Tirzepatide — "TZ" (brand name Mounjaro) — is a dual GIP + GLP-1 receptor agonist. It works on two of your body's appetite-and-blood-sugar hormones at once, which is why it's become the best-known peptide in this space for steady, meaningful results.

Who May Benefit?

  • People wanting reduced appetite and fewer cravings
  • Anyone working on blood sugar and insulin resistance
  • People who do best with a slow, once-weekly rhythm

Benefits

  • Reduced appetite and "food noise"
  • Steadier blood sugar
  • Meaningful, gradual weight loss over time
  • Better portion control and fewer cravings

Consistency is everything — the results build over weeks to months alongside protein, water, movement, and sleep.

How It Works

Tirzepatide activates both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors — slowing how fast your stomach empties, increasing fullness, and supporting steadier blood sugar. In plain terms: you feel satisfied sooner, stay satisfied longer, and ride steadier through the day.

What to Expect

This is a slow build, not a switch you flip. Appetite eases first; the scale follows over the weeks. We titrate up gently — there's no prize for rushing, and going too fast is what brings on side effects.

💛 T's Tip

There's intention behind every single shot, babe — this isn't free and we're not doing it for fun. So here's my ask: if you go two full weeks without seeing or feeling any changes, tell me. We can always adjust the strategy — nudge the dose, switch up injection sites, or change the timing between shots. Mixing and dosing is the most important part, so never hesitate to holler if anything's confusing. We're in this together. 💛 — T

Mixing

Add 2 mL BAC water to the 30 mg vial — that's two full insulin syringes (each syringe = 1 mL = 100 units) of BAC water. Fill the syringe, inject the water into the vial, and repeat once. Swirl gently (don't shake) until clear, and refrigerate after mixing.

At this mix, 1 unit ≈ 0.15 mg.

Dosing (not medical advice)

Once weekly. Start low and step up slowly. Common doses on a 30 mg vial:

Dose Units
1.25 mg (gentle half-dose start) ~8 units
2.0 mg ~13 units
2.5 mg (minimum recommended) ~17 units
4.0 mg ~27 units
5.0 mg ~33 units
6.0 mg ~40 units
7.5 mg ~50 units
8.5 mg ~56 units
9.0 mg ~60 units
10.0 mg ~67 units
11.0 mg ~73 units
12.5 mg ~83 units
15.0 mg ~100 units

How Long Will One Vial Last?

One 30 mg vial, at weekly dosing:

Weekly dose One vial lasts
2.5 mg ~12 weeks
5.0 mg ~6 weeks
7.5 mg ~4 weeks
10.0 mg ~3 weeks

Side Effects

Common (usually early and temporary):

  • Nausea, early fullness, mild reflux
  • Constipation (hydration + magnesium help)
  • Fatigue, occasional headache
  • Decreased appetite

Reach out for anything severe or persistent — bad stomach pain, persistent vomiting, or signs of dehydration.

Storage

Refrigerate the reconstituted vial (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Swab the stopper each time, use a fresh sterile syringe for every dose, and dispose of sharps properly.

Helpful Tips

  • Protein first, every meal
  • Stay ahead on water + electrolytes; add magnesium if constipated
  • Same day each week helps you stay consistent
  • If an up-titrate hits hard, hold that dose an extra week — no rush

FAQ

Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine — but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they can work against each other, so you lose the benefit of both. It isn't worth the guesswork. Keep each peptide in its own syringe — you can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. When in doubt, keep them separate.

How fast will I lose weight? Gradually — and that's the point. Steady loss is more sustainable. Give it weeks to months.

I felt rough after going up. Did I do it wrong? No — that's your cue to hold that dose another week (or drop back), not to push through.

What if nothing's happening after two weeks? Tell me — we'll adjust the plan.

A Little Reminder

This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. Peptides aren't just an appetite shot — you still get to participate in your own success. You're not lazy and you're not broken, and you don't have to do this perfectly. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
