What Is It?

Sermorelin is a growth hormone releasing hormone analog. Instead of supplying growth hormone directly, it signals your pituitary gland to make and release more of your own. That's the whole difference between this and HGH — Sermorelin asks your body to do the work, which is why it comes on more gradually and feels more like your own body waking up than something being added to it.

Who May Benefit?

People tend to reach for Sermorelin for:

  • Poor or shallow sleep
  • Slow recovery from workouts
  • Low energy through the day
  • Body composition that won't budge — less lean muscle, more fat
  • Skin, hair and nails that have lost their quality
  • Healthy aging support

Benefits

  • Improved sleep quality — usually the first thing people notice
  • Better recovery from exercise
  • Increased energy
  • More lean muscle, less body fat over time
  • Healthier skin, hair and nails
  • Overall sense of well-being

How It Works

Your body already releases growth hormone in pulses, mostly while you're in deep sleep. Sermorelin nudges the pituitary to release a bigger pulse at the moment it was going to release one anyway. That's why the timing matters so much here — taken at bedtime it works with your natural rhythm instead of fighting it.

What to Expect

Weeks 1–2: Better sleep, noticeably more vivid dreams, a slight lift in energy.

Weeks 3–6: Improved recovery, less soreness, better workout performance, better skin quality.

Weeks 8–12+: Gradual body composition changes — more lean muscle tone, less body fat, especially alongside decent nutrition and movement.

💛 T's Tip

This one is a slow burn, babe, and that's exactly what I like about it — you're not borrowing growth hormone, you're asking your own body to make more of it. Take it at night, right before bed, and try not to eat for an hour or two on either side of it. The vivid dreams in the first couple of weeks catch everybody off guard — that's normal, and for me it's the sign it's working. Start at 10 units and stay there a full two weeks before you touch the dose. If you wake up puffy or your hands tingle, back the dose down instead of pushing through. 💛 — T

Mixing

Add 2 mL BAC water to the 10 mg vial. Run it slowly down the inside wall of the vial, swirl gently until clear — never shake — and refrigerate.

At this mix, 1 unit = 50 mcg, so 10 units = 500 mcg.

Dosing (not medical advice)

Phase Dose Units Notes
Weeks 1–2 500 mcg 10 units Starting dose — nightly before bed
Weeks 3–4 750 mcg 15 units Increase only if week 1–2 went well
Maintenance 1,000 mcg 20 units Most people settle between 10–20 units

Timing: Nightly before bed. Avoid eating for about 1–2 hours beforehand if you can.

Schedule: Either nightly 7 days a week, or 5 days on / 2 days off. Both are common — most people I know run it nightly without cycling.

How Long Will One Vial Last?

One 10 mg vial (200 total units):

Dose Doses per vial
500 mcg (10 units) 20 nights
750 mcg (15 units) ~13 nights
1,000 mcg (20 units) 10 nights

At 15 units nightly, 5 days on / 2 days off, one vial covers a little over two and a half weeks.

Side Effects

Usually mild:

  • Water retention
  • Mild headache
  • Flushing
  • Injection site irritation
  • Temporary fatigue
  • Increased hunger

If you get significant swelling, numbness or tingling, or headaches that don't let up, reduce the dose and see how you respond.

Storage

Refrigerate the reconstituted vial (36–46°F / 2–8°C), good for about 30 days. Don't shake it — roll it gently. Swab the stopper every time and use a fresh sterile syringe.

Helpful Tips

  • Inject sub-Q in the belly or thigh
  • Bedtime, on a mostly empty stomach, is the whole game with this one
  • Give it 8–12 weeks before you judge body composition changes
  • Rotate injection sites

FAQ

Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine — but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they can work against each other, so you lose the benefit of both. It isn't worth the guesswork. Keep each peptide in its own syringe — you can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. When in doubt, keep them separate.

How is this different from HGH? HGH gives your body growth hormone directly. Sermorelin asks your pituitary to release more of your own. Sermorelin is more gradual and more self-regulating; HGH is faster and more forceful.

Why do I have to take it at night? Because your biggest natural growth hormone pulse happens in deep sleep. Taking it at bedtime works with that rhythm instead of against it.

Why the vivid dreams? Very common in the first couple of weeks, and generally taken as a sign that deep sleep is deepening. It usually settles down.

What does it stack well with? Commonly used alongside Glutathione, NAD+, MOTS-C, BPC-157 and the GLP-1s — in separate syringes.

A Little Reminder

This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. Sermorelin works on your body's own schedule, which means your job is mostly to show up at bedtime and let sleep do the rest. You're not lazy and you're not broken. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
