Feel Better Guide: Selank / Semax Blend
Selank 10 mg / Semax 10 mg blend, 20 mg total vial, mixed with 2 mL BAC water
Informational only, not medical advice. I'm not a doctor, just a girl sharing what's helped me and the people I care about.
Quick Facts
| Vial | 20 mg total (10 mg Selank + 10 mg Semax, pre-blended) |
| Mix with | 2 mL BAC water |
| How often | 1 to 2 times daily, morning and early afternoon |
| Typical dose | 5 to 10 units |
| Class | Nootropic blend, calm plus focus |
| Best known for | Clear focus without the jitters, calm without the fog |
What Is It?
This is the two most popular nootropic peptides in one vial. Semax is the focus half: it clears mental fog and makes it easier to sit down and actually do the thing. Selank is the calm half: it turns down the volume on anxiety and racing thoughts without making you sleepy.
They're blended together because most people who need one need the other. Semax on its own can feel a little sharp. Selank on its own leaves you settled but still foggy. Together you get the clarity with the edge taken off, and neither one is a stimulant, so there's no rev-up and no crash.
One vial, one syringe, one injection. That's the whole appeal.
Who Commonly Uses It
- People whose mind won't stop and whose concentration is shot
- Anyone whose focus is gone because stress ate it
- Work that demands sustained attention on a nervous system running hot
- People who found Semax alone too sharp or wired
- People who found Selank alone calming but not clarifying
- Big weeks: deadlines, travel, hard conversations, anything that asks for both
Benefits
- Focus and mental clarity without overstimulation
- Lower anxiety and a steadier emotional baseline
- Productivity without the drop-off stimulants bring
- Faster recovery from mental fatigue
- Better stress resilience
- Smoother mood through a hard day
How It Works
Two peptides, two jobs. Semax works on the brain's own signaling rather than on your adrenaline system, which is why it never feels like caffeine. Selank calms the fight-or-flight response, dialing down the alarm rather than sedating you.
They pair well because they work on different systems. One raises the signal, the other lowers the noise.
What to Expect
Onset is quick, about 30 to 60 minutes. The Semax side shows up as the absence of friction. The Selank side shows up as the volume coming down on the panic.
| Phase | What people often notice |
|---|---|
| First dose | Focus arrives within the hour, without the edge |
| Days 3 to 7 | Fewer anxiety spikes, easier to start things |
| Weeks 2 to 4 | Calmer baseline, less mental fatigue at day's end |
Cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off is the easiest pattern to run. Alternatively, 2 to 4 weeks on and then a break.
💛 T's Tip
I love this one because it takes the decision away from you, babe. No wondering which vial you need today, no two syringes at six in the morning. One shot and you're done.
Treat it as a morning peptide. The Semax in here is the deciding factor, and if you take it at four in the afternoon you will be reorganizing a closet at eleven at night, I promise you. Morning, or early afternoon at the latest.
Start at 5 units and stay there at least three days. I know it's tempting to go bigger on the first morning that goes well. Don't. Neither half of this gets better by being bigger, and too much shows up as a headache or a wired, irritable feeling. Coming back down fixes it every single time. 💛 — T
Mixing
Add 2 mL BAC water to the 20 mg blend vial. Run it slowly down the inside wall, swirl gently until clear, never shake, then refrigerate.
At this mix, each peptide is 5 mg/mL, so 1 unit = 50 mcg of Selank plus 50 mcg of Semax (100 mcg of peptide total).
| Units | You're getting |
|---|---|
| 5 units | 250 mcg Selank + 250 mcg Semax |
| 10 units | 500 mcg Selank + 500 mcg Semax |
| 15 units | 750 mcg Selank + 750 mcg Semax |
| 20 units | 1 mg Selank + 1 mg Semax |
Dosing (not medical advice)
The ramp-up protocol:
| Phase | Dose | Injection |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 3 | 250 mcg of each, once daily | 5 units, morning |
| Days 4 to 7 | 250 mcg of each, twice daily | 5 units morning + 5 units early afternoon |
| Days 8 onward | 500 mcg of each, once or twice daily | 10 units morning, optional 5 to 10 units early afternoon |
Standard range: 5 to 10 units per dose, 1 to 2 times daily.
Timing: morning and early afternoon only. Avoid dosing late in the day, because the Semax side can keep you up.
Cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off, or 2 to 4 weeks on then a break.
Situational use is fine. This is a good one to reach for on a specifically hard day: 5 to 10 units in the morning, nothing else.
How Long Will One Vial Last?
One 20 mg blend vial (200 total units):
| Daily dose | One vial lasts |
|---|---|
| 5 units/day | ~40 days |
| 10 units/day | ~20 days |
| 15 units/day | ~13 days |
| 20 units/day | ~10 days |
Running the ramp-up above at 5 days on and 2 days off, most people get well past a month out of one vial.
Side Effects
- Mild headache
- Overstimulation or a wired feeling if the dose is too high
- Irritability, or rare fatigue, at higher doses
- Trouble sleeping if dosed too late in the day
All of these mean the dose is too high or too late. Come back down to 5 units and keep it to the morning.
Storage
Refrigerate the reconstituted vial at 36 to 46°F (2 to 8°C). Don't shake it. Swab the stopper each time, use a fresh sterile syringe, and keep it out of the light.
Helpful Tips
- Inject sub-Q in the belly or thigh
- Start low, 5 units, and hold there three days before changing anything
- Morning and early afternoon only
- Stay consistent. This is a simple blend when you don't over-tinker
- Rotate injection sites
FAQ
Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine, but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they work against each other so you lose the benefit of both. Keep each peptide in its own syringe. You can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. (Selank and Semax already come pre-blended in this vial. That's intentional and fine.)
Why a blend instead of two vials? Convenience and consistency. One injection, one dose to remember, and the ratio is fixed at 1:1 so you can't accidentally run one high and the other low. If you want to dose them independently, the separate vials are the better choice.
Can I dose just the Selank side in the evening? Not from this vial. They're mixed together, so every dose gives you both, which is why the whole blend stays in the morning and early afternoon. If you need calm at night specifically, a standalone Selank vial is what you want.
Will it keep me awake? It can if you take it late. Keep it to morning and early afternoon and it won't.
Will it make me sleepy? No. Calm without sedation is the point of the Selank side. If you feel fatigued, the dose is probably too high.
I got a headache. Almost always the dose being too high. Come down to 5 units, then add back slowly.
Can I use it just on bad days? Absolutely. Situational use is completely reasonable with this one.
What does it stack well with? NAD+ pairs naturally with it, in a separate syringe.
A Little Reminder
This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. A nervous system that's been running hot for years doesn't settle in a day, but it does settle, and a clear head is a real thing to want. You're not lazy and you're not broken. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
