Quick Facts
| Vial | 10 mg |
| Mix with | 2 mL BAC water |
| How often | Once daily |
| Class | Reproductive hormone signalling peptide |
| Best known for | Libido and hormonal signalling, from the top down |
What Is It?
Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring peptide that plays a major role in regulating reproductive hormones. It signals the hypothalamus to release GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone), which then stimulates LH and FSH production.
The distinction worth understanding: unlike hCG, kisspeptin works higher up the chain — it encourages your body to produce its own hormonal signals rather than supplying a signal directly.
Who May Benefit?
People tend to reach for kisspeptin for:
- Low libido
- Supporting sexual wellness
- Optimising testosterone production in men
- Supporting fertility and reproductive hormone function
- Mood and sense of well-being
- Women reporting reduced sexual desire or responsiveness
Benefits
- Increased libido
- Enhanced sexual function
- Improved hormonal signalling
- May support testosterone production
- May support fertility markers
- Potential mood and motivation benefits
How It Works
Think of your reproductive hormones as a chain of command. Kisspeptin speaks to the top of that chain — the hypothalamus — which then sends the signal down through GnRH to LH and FSH. Because it works upstream, your body keeps its own regulation in the loop rather than having a downstream signal handed to it.
What to Expect
Two different timelines here, and it helps to know both:
- Libido effects may be noticed within days to a few weeks
- Hormonal changes may take several weeks to become apparent
Commonly used daily, by both men and women.
💛 T's Tip
Kisspeptin is the interesting one, babe, because it works from the top down — it asks your own system to send its own signals instead of handing it one. Start at 2 units. It's a small number and it's the right number; you can always come up. Give it a couple of weeks before you judge the libido side and closer to six before you judge anything hormonal. This one is for both men and women, which not everybody realises. And if hormones are genuinely part of your picture, this is one where getting labs done is worth it — you'll actually be able to see whether it's doing what you hoped. 💛 — T
Mixing
Add 2 mL BAC water to the 10 mg vial. Slowly down the inside wall, swirl gently until clear — never shake — and refrigerate.
At this mix, 1 unit = 50 mcg.
Dosing (not medical advice)
There is no universally accepted dosing protocol for kisspeptin. Common research and clinical ranges:
| Level | Dose | Units |
|---|---|---|
| Conservative start | 100 mcg daily | 2 units |
| Typical range | 100–300 mcg daily | 2–6 units |
| Higher-end protocols | 300–500 mcg daily | 6–10 units |
Most people start at 100–200 mcg daily (2–4 units) and adjust based on response.
Frequency: often used daily. Suitable for both men and women.
How Long Will One Vial Last?
One 10 mg vial (200 total units):
| Dose | Doses per vial |
|---|---|
| 100 mcg (2 units) | 100 days |
| 200 mcg (4 units) | 50 days |
| 300 mcg (6 units) | ~33 days |
| 500 mcg (10 units) | 20 days |
At 2 units daily, one vial lasts over three months.
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated, but some people report:
- Headache
- Flushing
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Temporary fatigue
- Injection site irritation
Storage
Refrigerate the reconstituted vial (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Don't shake it. Swab the stopper each time and use a fresh sterile syringe.
Helpful Tips
- Inject sub-Q in the belly or thigh
- Start at 2 units and give it time before adjusting
- Two timelines: libido in days to weeks, hormones in several weeks
- If hormones are part of why you're using it, labs make this one much easier to evaluate
- Rotate injection sites
FAQ
Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine — but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they can work against each other, so you lose the benefit of both. It isn't worth the guesswork. Keep each peptide in its own syringe — you can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. When in doubt, keep them separate.
How is this different from hCG? hCG supplies a hormonal signal directly. Kisspeptin works further up the pathway, prompting your body to produce its own signals.
How is it different from PT-141? PT-141 works on the nervous system and acts on desire, as needed. Kisspeptin works on the hormonal pathway and is used daily. Different mechanisms, different timelines.
Can women use it? Yes. It's used by both men and women, and some women report improved sexual desire and responsiveness.
How long before I know? Libido changes may show up in days to a few weeks. Hormonal changes take several weeks.
Should I get labs? If hormonal support is your goal, yes — it turns a guess into something you can actually measure.
A Little Reminder
This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. This one asks your body to do its own work, and that's slower than being handed something — but it's also the point. You're not lazy and you're not broken. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
