What Is It?

HGH is growth hormone itself — not a signal telling your body to make more, but the hormone delivered directly. That's the difference between this and Sermorelin. It works faster and more forcefully, and it asks more of you in return: patience, consistency, and paying attention to how your body responds.

This is the 10 IU vial — a smaller kit than the 36 IU. Same hormone, same dosing, just a shorter-lived vial. At the usual 1–2 IU nightly, one vial is roughly five to ten nights, so plan on a few of them per month and keep some ahead of you.

Who May Benefit?

People tend to reach for HGH for:

  • Slow recovery between workouts
  • Poor sleep quality
  • Joint discomfort
  • Body composition that won't shift
  • Healthy aging and tissue repair

Benefits

  • Deeper sleep
  • Faster recovery from training
  • Increased muscle density
  • A leaner overall appearance
  • Improved joint comfort
  • Better tissue repair

How It Works

Your body naturally releases growth hormone in pulses during deep sleep, and that release drops off as you age. HGH supplies it directly, which is why injecting before bed makes sense — it mirrors the timing your body would have chosen anyway, and lets the recovery work happen while you're asleep.

What to Expect

Weeks 1–4: Better recovery, deeper sleep, possibly some mild water retention.

Weeks 8–12: Increased muscle density, a leaner look, better joint comfort, faster recovery in the gym.

Give it 10–12 weeks minimum before you decide whether it's doing anything. Best results generally show up around 4–6 months.

💛 T's Tip

Two things about this one, love. First: it is not fast. Ten to twelve weeks before you judge it, and the really good stuff shows up around month four — so if you're going to start, commit to the runway or don't start. Second: watch your hands. Puffy fingers or tingling in the morning means the dose is ahead of you, and the fix is to come down, not to push through it. Start at 1 IU — at this mix that's 10 units on the syringe, nice and easy to read — and give it two full weeks before you go up. Most people land comfortably at 2 IU and stay there. One more thing, practical: this vial is small. Count your nights and order before you're on your last one, because running out mid-stretch is the thing that quietly ends people's runs. 💛 — T

Mixing

Add 1 mL BAC water to the 10 IU vial. Slowly, down the inside wall. Swirl gently until dissolved — do not shake — and refrigerate.

At this mix, 1 IU = 10 units on an insulin syringe.

⚠️ Switching from the 36 IU vial? Your unit count changes completely. The 36 IU mix was 1 IU ≈ 5.5 units; here 1 IU = 10 units. If you were at 2 IU (11 units on the old vial), that's 20 units on this one. Same dose — different number on the syringe. Read this table, not your memory.

Dosing (not medical advice)

Dose Units on syringe
1 IU 10 units
1.5 IU 15 units
2 IU 20 units
Phase Dose Units Purpose
Weeks 1–2 1 IU nightly 10 units Ease in. Watch for water retention or hand tingling
Weeks 3–12 1.5–2 IU nightly 15–20 units Main phase. Most people settle comfortably at 2 IU

Timing: Before bed, to mimic your natural growth hormone release during deep sleep. If nighttime dosing disrupts your sleep, morning is a reasonable alternative.

Schedule: Daily is most common. 5 days on / 2 days off (inject Monday–Friday, weekend off) also works fine — and it stretches each vial.

How Long Will One Vial Last?

One 10 IU vial:

Dose Nights per vial Vials per 30 days
1 IU nightly ~10 nights ~3
1.5 IU nightly ~6–7 nights ~4–5
2 IU nightly ~5 nights ~6

A full 12-week run — two weeks at 1 IU, then 2 IU nightly — comes to about 155 IU, or roughly 15 vials. Worth knowing up front so the supply doesn't surprise you.

Side Effects

  • Water retention, especially early on
  • Tingling or numbness in the hands
  • Mild headache
  • Injection site irritation
  • Joint aches if the dose is too high

Puffiness and tingling are the classic signs the dose is too high. Reduce it rather than working through it.

Storage

Refrigerate after mixing (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Do not shake. Best used within 30–40 days after reconstitution — at normal dosing this vial will be empty well before that. Swab the stopper each time and use a fresh sterile syringe.

Helpful Tips

  • Inject sub-Q in the belly or thigh
  • Bedtime dosing works with your natural rhythm
  • Commit to 10–12 weeks minimum before evaluating
  • Protein, sleep and training are what HGH amplifies — it doesn't replace them
  • Rotate injection sites
  • Mix one vial at a time and only when you're ready to start it — unmixed powder keeps far longer than mixed

FAQ

Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine — but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they can work against each other, so you lose the benefit of both. It isn't worth the guesswork. Keep each peptide in its own syringe — you can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. When in doubt, keep them separate.

Is the 10 IU different from the 36 IU I was using? Same hormone, same dosing, same everything except vial size and how you mix it. The only thing you have to relearn is the number on the syringe — 1 IU is 10 units here instead of about 5.5.

Can I mix the 10 IU vial with 2 mL instead of 1 mL? You can, and then 1 IU = 20 units. It's a valid way to do it if you'd rather draw a bigger, easier-to-see volume. Just pick one and stay with it — mixing the same peptide two different ways is how dosing mistakes happen.

Should I use HGH or Sermorelin? Sermorelin asks your own pituitary to release more growth hormone — gentler, more gradual, more self-regulating. HGH supplies it directly — faster and stronger, with more to watch for. Plenty of people start with Sermorelin for exactly that reason.

My hands are puffy and tingly. What do I do? Come down on the dose. That's the most common sign of too much, and it usually resolves at a lower dose.

How long until I see anything? Sleep and recovery often shift in the first month. Visible body composition changes take 10–12 weeks at minimum, and 4–6 months for the best of it.

What does it stack well with? Commonly used alongside BPC-157, Glutathione, NAD+, MOTS-C and the GLP-1s — in separate syringes.

A Little Reminder

This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. HGH rewards patience more than it rewards a bigger dose — the people who stay steady at a modest dose almost always do better than the ones who chase it up. You're not lazy and you're not broken. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
