Quick Facts

Vial 5 mg
Mix with 1 mL BAC water
How often Daily (morning preferred)
Typical range 10–20 units daily
Best known for Metabolic + body-recomposition support

What Is It?

5-Amino-1MQ is a metabolic-support research compound that inhibits an enzyme called NNMT, which is involved in how the body stores energy and metabolizes fat. It's most often explored for fat loss and body recomposition.

Who May Benefit?

  • People working on stubborn body fat
  • Anyone focused on body recomposition (losing fat while keeping muscle)
  • People wanting metabolic and insulin-sensitivity support

Benefits

  • Supports healthy fat metabolism
  • May help reduce stubborn body fat
  • Supports insulin sensitivity
  • May help preserve lean muscle during weight loss
  • May improve overall body composition

How It Works

By inhibiting NNMT — an enzyme tied to energy storage and fat metabolism — 5-Amino-1MQ is thought to nudge the body toward using fat rather than storing it, while helping protect lean muscle during a fat-loss phase.

What to Expect

This is a daily, slow-and-steady compound usually run for 8–12 weeks. Most people don't feel anything dramatic day-to-day; the point is body-composition change over the cycle. Taken in the morning to avoid any sleep disruption.

💛 T's Tip

This one's a background helper, love — you take it in the morning, you stay consistent, and you let it do quiet work over a couple of months while you handle the protein and the movement. If you take it late and feel a little wired or don't sleep well, just move it earlier. Everyone's different :) — pay attention to how you feel and adjust. 💛 — T

Mixing

Add 1 mL BAC water to the 5 mg vial. Gently down the side, swirl until clear, refrigerate.

At this mix, 1 unit = 0.05 mg, so 10 units = 0.5 mg and 20 units = 1.0 mg.

Dosing (not medical advice)

Once daily, morning preferred. Commonly run for 8–12 weeks.

Dose Units Notes
Start 0.5 mg (10 units) Assess tolerance
Step up (if well tolerated) 1.0 mg (20 units) Optional increase

How Long Will One Vial Last?

At daily dosing (one vial, mixed to 100 units total):

Daily dose One vial lasts
0.5 mg (10 units) ~10 days
1.0 mg (20 units) ~5 days

Because this is such a small daily dose in a small (5 mg) vial, a full 8–12 week cycle takes several vials — plan on roughly 6–8 vials over a cycle, and buy enough up front so you're not scrambling mid-cycle.

Side Effects

  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Injection-site irritation
  • Trouble sleeping if taken late in the day
  • Occasional jittery feeling

Storage

Refrigerate the reconstituted vial (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Swab the stopper each time, use a fresh sterile syringe, keep out of light.

Helpful Tips

  • Take it in the morning to protect your sleep
  • Pair with protein and resistance movement to support the "keep muscle, lose fat" goal
  • If you feel jittery, you likely don't need to go up
  • Stay consistent — this is a slow, cumulative one

FAQ

Can I combine this with my other peptides? Using more than one peptide is common and perfectly fine — but different peptides should not be combined in the same syringe. A few technically can be mixed, but they don't always play well together, and in some cases they can work against each other, so you lose the benefit of both. It isn't worth the guesswork. Keep each peptide in its own syringe — you can still take them in the same sitting, one right after another. When in doubt, keep them separate.

Will I feel it working? Probably not day-to-day — it's a body-composition play over 8–12 weeks, not a stimulant.

Why morning? Taken late it can interfere with sleep for some people.

Can I take it with a GLP-1? People often use it as a recomposition support alongside other tools — go slow and pay attention to how you feel.

A Little Reminder

This isn't about perfection, it's about consistency. 5-Amino is a quiet helper while you do the protein, movement, and sleep that actually move the needle. You're not lazy and you're not broken. I'm really glad you're here. 💛
